Practice Information

TREATMENT
This takes place in a purpose built room which is private , quiet and free from visual distractions. There is a toilet en-suite. There is an external staircase down
to the room. I prefer both parents or carer to accompany the child during the session, especially the first one. This will help you understand the process and objectives, and you will be able to follow through some of what you observe at home.

1979-1989: Independent Practice in speech and language therapy and hearing disorders , mainly with children and adolescents in London.

August 1989 to July 1998: Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy , Department of Human Communication Science , Faculty of Life Sciences, University College London. This department specialises in researching the acquisition of conversation by small children; the development of reading and spelling in school age children and the necessary pre-school skills associated with trouble - free literacy skills, among other disorders .

1998 to present: Independent Practice with a special academic interest in babies and pre-school children's development of social skills, emotional intelligence and communication skills in the very broadest sense.

Social communication groups with cognitive neuro-psychologist for primary, secondary and young adult groups with social communication difficulties
